Passed away on Nov. 13, 2004, of Schwenksville, formerly of Hatboro, age 43. Daughter of Carole (nee Gruninger) and the late Edward J. Jr. Sister of Carole A. Maloney (Peter), Kathryn A. Muller and Edward J. III (Linda); Aunt of Sara, Karina, Aidan and Rachel. Maryanne played the 2003-2004 season with the Hollydell Hurricanes Senior C team in the MAWHL and the Pennsauken Americans in the UWHL. She was the founder of the Valley Forge Ladies Hockey Association and one of the co-founders of the Tri-State Women’s Hockey League.

After winning her battle with breast cancer, she was diagnosed with leukemia in late-August and sadly passed away on November 13. She will be missed by her family, friends, and those she knew within the hockey community.
