Stan “Yatz” Jacek

#24 Delaware Bobcats, June 1, 1974-2002

 

Stan was a coach in the MAWHL for 7 years from 1985-86 thru 1991-92. He was an assistant coach of the Ironbound Bandits for those same 7 years and was known to most of the league at that time and was well liked by all who knew him.

JACEK – Suddenly died suddenly at his home in Newark, on Jan. 15, 2006, Stanley (Yatz), of Newark, N.J., son of the late Waclaw and Helena Jacek, loving brother of Jeanette Wujciak, dear uncle of Christopher and Patricia Wujciak.

He was born in Newark in 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Ironbound. He attended St. Casimir’s Grammar School, then onto Essex Catholic HS, and East Side High.

He was a Substitute Teacher for the Newark Public schools as well as Bergen County. He was a Bartender for the Deep Inn and Two Frank’s Tavern (Illis’s) both of Newark for many years.
